My process
My illustrations are made out of a mix of traditional media and digital drawing. I start sketching on a white paper, with pencil and sometimes a little bit of water colour, before I digitize and finish the illustration with Apple pencil on iPad.
All I do is by free hand. No AI nor any editing tool / creative app / tracing is used. I'm afraid I'm a little bit old fashioned that way.
My coffee paintings are painted with spoon, tooth stick and paint brush on 300 gsm water colour paper.
My prints are printed on Fine Art quality paper from Hahnemühle, 270 gsm and acid free, so that the artwork will remain in a good condition for a very long time. I use the printshop Pigs, located in Oslo and specialized in Fine Art prints.
Good to know
When you order a commission from me, this is what to expect:
Send me a few images or a description of what you have in mind. Based on that, I will prepare a few sketches with my initial ideas that we will be reviewing together. After that, I will finalize the illustration(s) and send them for you to review again. After a last round of modifications and enhancements, I will deliver the illustrations to you.
Digital files will be delivered in the recommended resolutions for printing and web, and sent to you either by WeTransfer, Google drive or Dropbox.
FineArt prints will be shipped to your address..
